‘Yukawa, Executive Director’, was taken over by a CSK executive at Sega’s headquarters in order to promote the Dreamcast in Japan (it is said that the Sega president was originally going to take over, but Yukawa ended up having to take over due to schedule constraints).
The story of a high-ranking person in a company called the Executive Director making funny jokes about selling new game consoles gained cult popularity, so much so that it was even mentioned as an overseas topic on Korean terrestrial broadcasters in the late 1990s.
And this concept, along with the Segata Sanshiro of the previous generation, became famous as a symbol of mother and daughter.
