Kwon Do-hyung’s fate is a ‘labyrinth’ again… Montenegro Supreme Court suspends transfer to Korea

The repatriation of Kwon Do-hyeong, a key figure in the Terra Luna incident, to Korea has been temporarily put on hold again. On the 8th (local time), the Supreme Court of Montenegro issued a ruling on its website until a decision is made on the Supreme Prosecutor’s Office’s request for a judgment on the legality of extradition.

Montenegro’s Supreme Court announced on its website on the 8th (local time) that it has decided to hold off on Mr. Kwon’s repatriation to Korea until a decision is made on the Supreme Prosecutor’s Office’s request to determine the legality of extradition.

The Supreme Court explained, “We are suspending the implementation of the decisions of the High Court and the Court of Appeals until the Supreme Court makes a decision on the Supreme Prosecutor’s Office’s request to determine the legality,” adding, “This will be done within the statutory deadline.”
