Distributed Energy Act scheduled to go into effect on June 14th

Simply put, the Distributed Energy Activation Special Act means that the closer you are to a power plant, the more favorable your electricity bill will be.
Power plants are usually located in rural areas, resulting in enormous transmission and distribution costs and social problems.
The figure below is a graph of consumption and power generation by region.
In areas with a lot of electricity production, we plan to allow local governments to supply electricity directly instead of KEPCO, which means the price may be much cheaper.
As a result, it is hoped that data centers and companies will move to areas with high power production.
