is that Ki Sung-yueng was playing for Swansea City in the English Premier League when he bought farmland. Although there is little feasibility of an agricultural management plan submitted by Ki Sung-yueng to acquire farmland in Korea, the competent district office issued a certificate of qualification for acquiring farmland. Ki said, “I bought farmland under my son’s name to build my lifelong dream! Ki Sung-yong’s soccer center! and drew plans for the soccer center, but the plan was delayed due to circumstances,” adding, “Sung-yong didn’t even know how to acquire farmland and everything was done.” The land included in the park site is 2,653㎡ 36.4% of farmland under the name of
. Ki Sung-yueng reportedly divided the land from the original land number on Jan. 4 and sold it to private park operators as public land and received land compensation of about 1.2 billion won. This is more than double the initial purchase price of 565 million won.
However, the industry analyzes that the price increase of the rest of the land that is not included in the park site is much greater.
