African continent that has been torn since 05

In 2005, Ethiopia had a crack of about 35 miles, about 56 kilometers

This crack is called the Nubian version, the Somali version, the Arabian version, where the Afar region is located

Revealed as a result of three tectonic plates moving away from each other

The Arabian plate is moving away from Africa at a rate of about an inch a year

The two Somali Nubian plates are separating more slowly between 05 and 02 inches per year

In at least 5 to 10 million years, it will take for the continent to completely separate

There’s going to be a sea in that place
