This mysterious nature can be seen in Cenote Angelita, Mexico

Senote Angelita is a mysterious underwater cave hidden in the jungle near the ancient Maya civilization city of Tulum on the Yucatan Peninsula

Up to 30 meters deep, you can see seawater up to 60 meters deep and another river below it

But it looks like a river, but it’s not really a river, it’s a hydrogen sulfide layer, it’s kind of an electroluminescence phenomenon

Angelita Angelita means little angel in Spanish and cenote means sinkhole

If you follow a short path through the Angelita jungle, you will find a huge hidden sinkhole in the sea of cenote At Cenote Angelita, it descends 575 meters straight

The clear water, which you can see inside as it is, is influenced by the mysterious hydrogen sulfide layer, and up to the first 30 meters, 30 meters below fresh water is filled with seawater

The last layer is a layer of hydrogen sulfide, which looks like a thick cloud from the top and emits a distinctive shade of color from the bottom

Cenote is a unique underwater cave-type topography found here in the Yucatan Peninsula. Cenote originated from the Mayan word Dzonot

Various geological phenomena and climatic changes have created a phenomenal and unique ecosystem in the Yucatan Peninsula, and caves and underground rivers like Cenote are believed to have formed about 6,500 years ago

Over the past 20 years, experienced divers have explored these caves, discovering that more than 480 kilometers of passageways are intertwined, and based on this environment, they form an amazing single ecosystem
