In order to expand the scope of education, SM Entertainment has joined hands with top domestic and foreign modeling agency Esteem Jongno Academy. It is operated on a three-year semester system. It is difficult to combine with the elementary, middle, and high school curriculum as all five majors are operated on a semester system, including producer, vocal, dancer, model, and acting. The main target group is high school students who dream of becoming artists and run the qualification examination class together. Jongno Academy will be in charge of the qualification exam process.
An official from SM Universe Academy said, “The qualification exam course consists of three hours of lectures a day for the first semester. As the lectures continue from the morning to the afternoon, dropouts will be the main ones.”
