Italy during World War II

Fearing the destruction of relics dating back to Roman times by bombing, Italy,

It makes the decision to wrap the relics in bricks, not enough to cover them with sandbags.

David is no exception.

Early in the war, simply wrapped in sandbags.

the middle of the war, with walls and sand in the air.

The museum that was like this…

It changed like this.

This madness is especially evident at the Last Supper.

It was covered with layers of wooden and sandbags.

a finished wall

The monastery was bombed and collapsed, but the last supper survived.

The square square was the location where the bomb fell, and the red line next to the wall square collapsed.

Perhaps because one wall collapsed, the walls on both sides of the Last Supper are different.
