(Number of Representatives) In the Northern European electoral system, population representation is

Approximately 30,000 per member of the National Assembly

There is a very big difference from our country’s 170,000 people.

(Electoral system) In Korea, the Japanese-style single-member constituency system or major constituency system is adopted, but in Northern Europe, the public sentiment is directly reflected in the National Assembly.

A proportional representation system is adopted. It corresponds to number 4 in the picture below.

□The number of members of the National Assembly must be expanded.

□ Who is against it?

It can be said that 1 trillion is spent on each election.

□ National Assembly members’ fees must be paid appropriately as compensation for ‘labor’.

This article was posted in early July 2018. I look forward to seeing what impact this experiment will have on the National Assembly.

So far, our country’s National Assembly has been operating not with 300 members, but with 3,000 members, which is 10 times that number.

300 people + (300×9) = 3,000 people

In other words, we just need to go in the direction of expanding the number of lawmakers and reducing the number of aides like in Northern Europe.

600 people + (600

x4

)

= 3,000 people

1,000 people + (1,000

x2

2,000 people + (2,000

x1

= 2,000 people
