Director Kim Ki-duk said at the preview that only 100,000 viewers would be able to pay a guarantee to the actors and staff who participated without a guarantee and recover the principal money. It failed miserably.
In the end, it was released to VOD service on the 8th day of release.
I understand director Kim Ki-duk’s intention to criticize high-ranking government and military officials who committed crimes.
This is a movie that uses a great actor named Ma Dong-seok and throws it away with a weird story and dialogue.
