It’s sold at a private cafe that usually doesn’t have many customers because it’s in a small, remote area, but when I got there at opening time, it turned out to be a famous restaurant with a line that was over 50 meters long.
The business seemed to be a hit as customers also bought a lot of egg tarts, financiers, and madeleines while buying douchokku.
I had to wait about 30 minutes to purchase it.
The outside is chewy and feels like rice cake, and the inside has a subtle pistachio flavor and is similar to Kadaiif noodles.
It was very crispy, so the texture was interesting and the taste was good, but it wasn’t enough to make me buy it again and I was worried about my health, so I think I’ll be satisfied with the experience of trying it once.
