Fallout voice actor whose price skyrockets just by barely reciting one line of dialogue

Ron Perlman is famous for his intro lines throughout the Fallout series.

This is the voice actor who said “War, war never changes.”

A long time ago, during Fallout 1, there was an interview where I said this line and received $40 and a sandwich.

As this story went viral on Twitter, one of the developers suddenly revealed an interesting story.

“Now that I think about it, I remember having a lot of trouble recruiting Ron Perlman to Fallout New Vegas.”

I heard that his ransom had become very expensive, so I wondered what this meant, but when I heard it later,

I heard that when they were making Fallout 3, Bethesda locked him up and made him say “War never changes” over and over again for an entire hour.
