Tutankhamun review

Currently, Tutankhamun’s mask is in the Grand Egyptian Museum.

The Grand Egyptian Museum is said to be a museum opened by Egypt as a national project.

The museum is not only large in size but also has good facilities, so you could spend an entire day eating, looking, and exploring.

I arrived around 8 o’clock and stood in line in advance.

There was no one there when I arrived, but within five minutes people had gathered and the line was long.

The museum’s main gate opens at 8:30, but the actual gallery opens at 9:00.

The gallery opens at 9 o’clock and people quickly walk towards Tutankhamun.

This is because everyone wants to go to Tutankhamun and take pictures.

But one lady started running. It was a Korean woman.

Then all the people who were walking started running.

While skipping the relics, I made my way to the place where Tutankhamun’s mask was located.

And now it’s photo time. Everyone takes pictures frantically, and when they come back to their senses, they take some time to appreciate them, and then go back to the gallery entrance to officially look at the artifacts.

Most of the artifacts in the Grand Egyptian Museum are ancient artifacts, and you can see artifacts from the Egyptian dynasty period to the Greek-influenced prolific dynasty period.

The relics are in very good condition, so I’m guessing they were restored in modern times.

I heard that the actual murals are still being painted on a regular basis.

But what’s a bit futile is that if you go only on weekday mornings, you won’t have any trouble seeing Tutankhamun’s mask and taking pictures even if it’s not open.

Later, I went back to Tutankhamun Zone and it wasn’t that crowded.

Anyway, if you go to Egypt, a must-visit place is the Grand Egyptian Museum.

The entrance fee is a bit steep, around 50,000 Korean won, but it is very cheap compared to the entrance fees in European countries.
