In Korea, we only sell lump-sum payments, so there have been a lot of requests to offer a subscription type before, but I didn’t know that they would just stop selling lump-sum payments all over the world.

You can think of it as normal, long range, and performance (performance is poor).
Additional options include enhanced autopilot (EAP) and full self-driving drive (FSD), and the prices range from 4.5 million won to 9 million won.
The default autopilot can be thought of as a bit of a smart active cruise control.
EAP is Navigate on Autopilot, which means that when you enter a destination, the car automatically adjusts speed on the highway, changes lanes, and makes a sudden stop when an accident is predicted. There are several additional functions such as Thurman (calling the car to your location) and automatic parking. However, Teslas made in China have a very short stopping distance, so it is safe to say that they do not exist.
FSD is something you’ve probably all seen through YouTube shorts at least once. It adds all of the above EAP functions and drives better than people, even on regular roads and parking lots, rather than highways, so you can reach your destination.

In the US, FSD is available as a subscription for $199 per month.
In Australia it was available for $149
However, this time, they announced the suspension of lump sum sales and switched to a subscription type, lowering the FSD subscription price from $199 to $99 in the US.
Surprisingly, the reaction is not bad because you can come into contact with FSD, which was only available when purchasing a car due to the price, but there are people who cannot laugh at this.
These are the people who purchased EAP
When FSD was sold as a monthly subscription for $199 in the United States, EAP buyers were given a 50% discount so they could use it for $99.
However, when the price was lowered to $99, the discount provided to EAP buyers was eliminated. Even those who did not purchase the option and those who purchased the EAP option for 4.5 million won must pay the same monthly fee of $99.
However, in Australia, the government appears to have taken action by providing additional discounts to EAP buyers. EAP buyers can subscribe to FSD for $49 per month
However, in Tesla Korea, which applies policies similar to those in North America, the highway usage rate among Koreans is high, so those who purchased EAP to travel comfortably on the highway are now in a situation where they can’t laugh. The 4.5 million won option appears to be disintegrating.
However, the United States is also a country of lawsuits, so if people who purchased EAP are left alone, it is obvious that they will face lawsuits, so I predict that they will provide discounts.
