
Previously, Tesla gained a competitive edge in commercialization by applying fully supervised autonomous driving ‘FSD’ last year. Although FSD was officially applied with level 2 autonomous driving technology, it was assessed as actually being at level 3.
However, interest is focused as Hyundai Motor Group announced the commercialization of level 4 autonomous driving, several steps ahead of its competitors.
The reason it was slow was because it went straight from level 2 to level 4.
