MrBeast, the YouTuber with the most subscribers in the world, directly expressed his position on the ‘request to acquire Adore’ raised by some overseas fans of New Jeans.
In a recent interview with American streamer Jason the Win, Mr. Beast admitted that he had encountered such a request, saying, “I’ll be honest. I saw those videos. They really annoyed me.”
During the conversation, Jason asked, “The New Jeans fandom likes you. Do you have any plans to save Daniel by buying Adore or New Jeans?” In response, Mr. Beast asked, “If it’s about $30 million (about 43 billion won), that’s a really big amount of money. Is that reasonable, does the internet world need it, and does it help bring New Genes back together? Does the fandom really want that?”
When Jason explained, “It seems like the purpose of the Bunnies (New Jeans fandom) is to spread the word about this,” Mr. Beast asked, “So are you jokingly asking me to raise awareness?” Jason responded, “I’m not kidding. I think you believe you can change things if you buy Adore.”
Mr. Beast said, “With the firepower of that fandom, it would be better to do crowdfunding through a fundraising site. To be honest, I don’t know much about the current situation, I just know that they need her (Danielle). I think we should bring in a New Genes fan who can properly explain the situation to us.”
