You didn’t care for 20 years while that oil was stolen not for the Venezuelan people but for Maduro himself, Russia, China, Cuba, and Iran. Meanwhile, Venezuelans were left in extreme poverty and forced into exile.
These are criminals. And now suddenly you are more worried about Venezuelans’ oil than the people themselves.
Venezuelans are grateful to President Donald Trump. If the price of freedom is Venezuelan oil, we are willing to pay that price. Because we don’t care about oil.
We have thousands of different resources for survival. To us freedom is more valuable than all the oil in the world.
