Lee Chen (27, real name Kim Young-seon) debuted as a member of the 7-member boy group Modissey by placing 6th in the final stage of Mnet Plus Original Survival Planet C: Home Race. Lee Chen is said to be a descendant of the well-known independence activist Ahn Jung-geun.

It is said that Lee Chen’s great-great-grandfather is Ahn Myeong-geun, and he is Ahn Jung-geun’s cousin.

The two are said to have participated in the independence movement together. Also, Lee Chen’s grandmother is Ahn Ki-jin, the granddaughter of Ahn Myeong-geun.

Lee Chen also said that he felt a sense of responsibility as a descendant of Ahn Jung-geun.
