Director James Cameron was unexpectedly cautious about mentioning a sequel.
‘Avatar 4’, which was partially filmed, is scheduled to be released in 2029, four years from now.
‘Avatar 5’ is planned for 2031.
Cameron spoke about the issue in an interview in early December:
