In its decision on the 19th, the court stated, “Studio C1’s act of producing and transmitting ‘Fireworks Baseball’, which utilizes the main cast and components of ‘Strongest Baseball’ without any modifications and at the same time includes content implying that it is in fact a follow-up season to ‘Best Baseball’ based on the content, records, and narratives of games that took place in ‘Best Baseball,’ constitutes an act of unfair competition under Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Unfair Competition Prevention Act.”
