Why the Michael Jackson biopic needed reshoots

Some scenes from the Michael Jackson movie were discarded. What happened was that the third act was centered around a 1993 incident in which Jordan Chandler claimed that he had been sexually abused by Michael Jackson when he was 13 years old.

However, Jackson’s estate management group had negotiations with the Chandler family in the past, and during those negotiations, there was a contract that would exclude Chandler’s content even if a Michael Jackson movie was filmed later, but they forgot this and filmed it.

As a result, the filmed third act became almost unusable, and its release was pushed back to the middle of this year due to reshoots and revisions.

At the time, when this news became known, Majack fans were so angry that they threatened to kill that bastard.
