We would like to inform you regarding the health status and future activities of TWICE’s CHAEYOUNG.
Chaeyoung was recently diagnosed with vasovagal syncope, and based on consultation with professional medical staff and a thorough examination, it was concluded that additional recovery time was needed while she was resting. Accordingly, after a long discussion, Chaeyoung decided to suspend activities for the time being and focus on treatment, stability, and sufficient rest.
Currently, Chaeyoung is aiming for sufficient rest and recovery by the end of the year. We would like to inform you that she will participate minimally or will inevitably not participate in future scheduled schedules due to the decision that her health should be her top priority.
In addition, we would like to inform you that Chaeyoung will not be able to participate in the world tour performances scheduled for Kaohsiung, Hong Kong, and Bangkok, and that Chaeyoung herself is deeply disappointed about this. We also once again expressed our apologies to our fans for not being able to participate in fan events and world tours since the end of October.
We sincerely apologize for causing concern to our fans who always send us warm love. We will do our best to support Chaeyoung so that she can stand in front of her fans again in good health as soon as possible, and we ask for your support and encouragement for her speedy recovery.
