‘Chungju Man poisoned Korea’ stuffed on KBS

The official YouTube account operated by Chungju City has an overwhelmingly large number of subscribers among local governments across the country.

The title of the video without any explanation, inspired by a movie scene, is the recently opened Chungcheong Inland Expressway.

However, with the added fun of finding hidden meanings, it is a hot topic with over a million views.

From planning to casting and editing, officials from the Chungju City Public Relations Office were directly in charge.

Since opening the channel in 2019, it has been receiving a lot of response by promoting local specialties, tourist attractions, and events, as well as capturing the reality and hardships of public officials.

The YouTube channel’s subscribers became five times the population of Chungju, with unprecedented disruptions occurring in the rigid atmosphere of public office.

As the topic continued to grow, a dedicated team was formed starting this year, and the craze for catching up with Chungju Man continued in numerous local governments and organizations across the country.

As they approach one million subscribers, attention is being paid to what kind of changes their attempts, which have brought a fresh shock to the public service community, will lead to in the future.
