Ahead of the 2022 presidential election, it was confirmed that the Unification Church discussed the need for an undersea tunnel with active members of the National Assembly in the Yeongnam region of the People Power Party in order to promote the ‘Korea-Japan undersea tunnel’, which is the church’s long-cherished wish.
