This statement was in response to a question from a Democratic Party member at the hearing.
There was a bit of a fuss on the spot, and articles came out as if it was an official statement saying that it should be done right away, like the policies of some countries such as Australia, so I immediately explained it.
The purpose is to prepare various alternatives, such as strengthening the authority of legal representatives, to address youth SNS issues.
Personally, I think it is clear that the harmful effects of SNS for youth are increasing, so I believe that some level of regulation or media education is necessary, but I think it will be possible to some extent by listening to the voices of all walks of life, holding public hearings, producing statistics, and investigating to prevent other side effects.
I think it is absolutely impossible to implement it right away, and it is an issue that can be discussed at least.
