Dongduk Women’s University said the damage was estimated at up to 5.4 billion won and filed a complaint with the police against 21 people, including the student council president, on charges of damaging communal property and trespassing into communal buildings.
The school later submitted a withdrawal of criminal complaint and a non-punishment request to the police, but the police continued the investigation on the grounds that it did not constitute pro-reporting or anti-punishment charges and sent them to the police without detention in June of this year.
