Time and location of occurrence: Early morning on January 29, 1990, Saetbyeol Room Salon located on the first basement level of Guro 2-dong, Guro-gu, Seoul.

Victims: A total of four people, including three teenage bar employees and one teenage male who worked part-time at a nearby billiards hall, were stabbed to death with a sharp weapon.

Motive for the incident: The criminals asked one of the victims, a teenage female employee, to stay out overnight (second time), but when she refused, they became enraged and brutally murdered her in retaliation.

Criminals and Arrest: The two criminals were Kyung-soo Cho (23 years old at the time) and Tae-hwa Kim (21 years old at the time). They ran away immediately after the incident and became infamous as the most wanted men in the country. They committed additional crimes while fleeing and were arrested shortly after.

Punishment: The two criminals were brought to trial, sentenced to death, and executed along with other heinous criminals in September 1990.

The crime scene was so horrendous (the entrance to the stairs was all covered with handprints, he was caught trying to run away for his life and was dragged back to the store, etc.), so even the detectives said it was a terrible scene.
