One escaped and one was arrested.
According to local media at the time,
1. The victim entered Thailand on April 30th.
2. The victim has a Thai wife.
3. The victim went to a club called Route66 in Bangkok on May 3rd.
4. The victim later disappeared.
5. On May 7, the victim’s mother reported the kidnapping to the Thai police and the Korean Embassy.
6. The victim was kidnapped, and a text message was sent to the victim’s mother threatening to kill her if she did not prepare 3 million baht (approximately 112.37 million won in Korean currency).
7. But unfortunately the victim was murdered
8. A drum full of cement was discovered in Mabprachan Reservoir (3m deep) in Pattaya.
The victim’s body was found in the drum.
9. The victim was found crouching and all 10 fingers were cut off.
