Containing all nine essential amino acids, potatoes contain all the vitamins and minerals needed to fully oxidize large amounts of nutrients.

Boiled or baked potatoes are said to be the most satiating food as they increase the satiety hormone PYY more than any other food.

However, there is a big difference in satiety depending on the recipe.

Boiled potatoes > steamed potatoes > baked potatoes > fried potatoes (french fries)
