‘Chef of Antarctica’ is not a ‘cooking show’ where the contestants are the main characters. Since this is a climate environment project that explores the meaning of humans, nature, and coexistence in the extreme environment of Antarctica, we decided that it was important to properly convey its essential value to viewers. One of the reasons it was important was to keep our promises to the various national science base officials who cooperated for filming at the Antarctic base, as well as the numerous staff and cooperation partners who participated in the production despite the difficult environment.
