At around 12:14 pm on the 4th, a fire broke out at Songdo Fire Station in Yeonsu-gu, Incheon.
After receiving a report from a nearby resident that “smoke was coming from the fire station,” the fire department dispatched 47 personnel, including firefighters, and 19 equipment, including pump trucks, and extinguished the fire at around 1 p.m., 46 minutes after it started.
There were no casualties in the fire, but the exterior wall of the building used by the fire department as an auditorium and training center was burned.
A fire official said, “We believe the fire started outdoors and spread to the building,” and added, “We are investigating the exact cause of the fire.”
