Incheon Central Police Station announced on the 3rd that it was arresting and investigating Mr. A, in his 20s, on charges of rape under the Act on Sexual Protection of Children and Adolescents.
Mr. A is accused of sexually assaulting middle school students B and C several times each at a motel in Dong-gu, Incheon and an empty lot in an apartment complex in Michuhol-gu between July and August of last year.
It was discovered that Ms. B and Ms. C reported to 112 on the afternoon of the 31st of last month that they had been sexually assaulted.
The police urgently arrested Mr. A on a street in Jung-gu, Incheon 30 minutes after the report.
During the police investigation, Mr. A reportedly denied some of the charges, claiming, “The sexual intercourse took place with mutual consent.”
A police official said, “The victims knew each other,” and added, “We are investigating Mr. A’s crimes, including whether he filmed illegally.”
