I posted a political post, but I’m posting it again in the related military category.
1. South Korea requested nuclear fuel approval, but the United States only approved possession of nuclear submarines.
2. By building nuclear submarines in the United States, the United States maintains control over nuclear fuel and reserves.
(Personally, I expect 3 ships to be approved in this case)
3. Hanwha Philly Shipyard does not have submarine facilities and requires enormous actual investment; instead, it may be possible to develop a Korean-style independent model.
(Because the Virginia class is so large, I personally expect that there is a greater possibility of a Korean-original model)
4. Where will the nuclear submarine base be built in Korea?
5. Lastly, South Korea has become a powerful country with nuclear-powered submarines, but how will neighboring countries react?
– Strategy is a game with opponents, this is an area each person must think about.
