However, the revised bill stipulates that if a transaction is made between a special relationship, such as a spouse or child, at a significantly lower price than the market price, it is considered ‘acquisition by gift’, and a tax rate of up to 12% is applied to high-priced homes in areas subject to adjustment.

After the law is passed, the Ministry of Public Administration and Security plans to include specific standards in the enforcement ordinance with the goal of implementation in January of next year.
