One of the largest solar power plants in Europe in Karapınar, Türkiye. The 2,778m² building, completed in 2023, is set in the 20km² energy zone optimized for solar production. The reflective stainless steel exterior, consisting of 7,200 panels with diverse transparency, harmonizes with horizontal lines, minimizing heat exposure, creating a dynamic visual effect that changes all day.
The central courtyard in the center introduces a sustainable microclimate with a unique plant, providing a shaded resort in the desert landscape. The fault structure increases on the ground, improving ventilation and space flow. Designed in consideration of both operational efficiency and flexibility, the building includes events, workshops, and spaces for research, and acts as a core architectural declaration of renewable energy infrastructure.
