[Exclusive] Choi Gwi-hwa appears in ”The Tyrant’s Chef” and meets Yoona

Actor Choi Gwi-hwa was cast in ‘The Tyrant’s Chef’.

As a result of IZE coverage on the 21st, Choi Gwi-hwa joined tvN’s new drama ‘Tyrant’s Chef’ (written by HapJak, directed by Jang Tae-yu, planned by Studio Dragon, produced by Film Draw and Jeong Universe).

‘The Tyrant’s Chef’ is a fantasy survival romance that takes place over 500 years as a French chef (Yoona) who went back in time meets the king, who is the worst tyrant and the best gourmet. It is scheduled to air this year.

Choi Gwi-hwa played the role of Grand Prince Jeseon in the play. Grand Prince Jeseon is a character who pushes the main character, the king (tyrant), into a corner. He plays an active role as a character who brings dramatic tension to the plot. We plan to tell an exciting story with the male and female protagonists.

Regarding Choi Gui-hwa’s casting in ‘Tyrant’s Chef’, Choi Gui-hwa’s side told Eyes, “”We are in the process of positive review.”

Choi Gwi-hwa became widely known to the public after appearing in the 2014 tvN drama ‘Misaeng’ as assistant manager Park Yong-gu. He was loved by viewers as a sympathetic character. After appearing in the OCN drama ‘Running Investigator’ in 2019, he made a special appearance in the SBS drama ‘Ghost’ in 2023.
