A review of Qingdao after a long time

I am posting this because someone asked me to leave a review.

If you are uncomfortable with China, you can pass.

The German buyer said he was seriously considering switching to Chinese products because the materials he used to buy in the U.S. were getting too expensive, so he was on a long business trip to meet several companies and asked if he could take a look. He wasn’t in a position to refuse.

I went to Qingdao, China at the beginning of the new year.

I was very uneasy because the model was the same as the Boeing 737-800 model used in the Muan accident, but when I actually rode it, it wasn’t that bad.

I took the cheapest Shandong Airlines flight and saved 150,000 won round trip because I didn’t have a visa.

Similar to Jeju, 1 hour away

Even though I stayed in a nice 4-star hotel suite, the cost was around 100,000 per day. Well, it’s cheap.

To be honest, there was no inconvenience in working, and I went there using SK roaming.

KakaoTalk, YouTube, and Netflix are all done.

Qingdao’s German-style buildings are naturally impressive, but there’s no way Germans can tell that.

So, on the last day, I went alone in the morning and reported it. It’s nice to have a picturesque place next to the sea as a tourist destination.

I didn’t go to many places, but I ate really well.

Both I and Buyer ate local food incorrectly.

I continued to eat at good restaurants.

If it’s the same level, it’s 30-40% of Korea’s, but it was really delicious.

I think it cost around 10,000 to 20,000 won per person.

I also felt it when I went to Shanghai in October, and it was so clean that I wondered if China was the China I knew.

There are a lot of cleaners and trash cans on the streets. I’m sure this is controlled by the country.

There are still a lot of cigarettes smoked on the streets, but the level is similar to that in Japan, and cigarette butts are not found.

I didn’t bring any cash and only used Alipay.

I’ve only taken the subway once, but it’s new so it’s bound to be clean.

I almost took a Didi (taxi).

It’s really comfortable and cheap, so I can’t help but praise it.

I tried BYD here and drove a Chinese car.

hmm. To be honest, it was so good that I thought I had to stop this.

I took a regular taxi a couple of times, but it was operated by an old Japanese car.

There is a big difference. The price is expensive, so there is no reason to take a taxi.

I went and finished my work well, came back, and ate well, which was nice.

There was nothing particularly uncomfortable.

But it may be inconvenient if you don’t speak Chinese.

I don’t understand English

It was also impressive that fine dust has almost disappeared, perhaps because electric vehicles have become mainstream.
