Bear cubis caught pushing the boat out – ofits territory

The Sun, a British yellow press, published an article titled “Get off my ice” with a photo of a polar bear approaching an icebreaker.

The photo was taken in the Norwegian Svalbard Islands, and was taken on board by the icebreaker’s crew member, Fyns Westwood. He saw the icebreaker moving slowly.

A young polar bear approached out of curiosity.

He said that he had filmed the situation, and that polar bears were commonly seen on the Svalbard Islands, the main navigation route.

In other words, the title given by The Sun can be seen as a bizarre one.

Some argue that icebreakers are a threat to polar creatures such as polar bears because they break up the ice, but this is a myth. First, broken ice freezes again over time. This means that it is not at a level that threatens the migration of polar creatures. Second, without icebreakers, we have to travel longer distances to avoid polar regions, and in the process, we emit more greenhouse gases. Broken ice can be restored, but greenhouse gases once released cannot be recovered.

If there is anyone who claims that icebreakers cause environmental destruction, please refute them.
