how

The government has decided to reduce the burden of credit card fees on self-employed people. Benefits vary slightly depending on the size of annual sales, but the fees that self-employed people can save are expected to total around 300 billion won per year.

Business is not going well, but the cost of ingredients continues to rise, so we can’t even afford to hire employees.

Since it is difficult, card fees are also quite a burden.

The government has decided to lower the card commission rate from 0.05%p to 0.1%p for affiliates with annual sales of 3 billion won or less starting February next year.

Depending on the sales size, the burden can be reduced by an average of 45,000 won to 253,000 won per year.

Commission rates will also be frozen for three years for companies with annual sales of less than 100 billion won.

The total cost reduction is expected to be around 300 billion won.

In the credit card industry, there is also dissatisfaction with the commission rate being lowered five times in a row since 2012, which already generates little profit.

However, in a situation where the domestic demand recession was so severe and the uncertainty of martial law was added, the industry had no choice but to decide to participate.

The government plans to unveil a win-win financial plan for the banking sector next week, including lowering loan interest rates to support vulnerable groups.
