(Chapter 87)
Riots are committed for the purpose of excluding state power or promiscuous use of state power in all or part of the territory of the Republic of Korea.
The person with the highest authority shall be punished according to the following classifications.
1. The leader shall be punished by death, life imprisonment, or life imprisonment.
2. Self-inflicted death penalty, imprisonment for life or more than 5 years for participating in or carrying out a conspiracy or committing other important duties.
The same applies to those who kill, destroy, or commit murder and are subject to imprisonment or imprisonment.
3. Anyone who conducts riots7 or simply participates in riots shall be punished by imprisonment or imprisonment for up to 5 years.
