It may seem like I’m being mean, but I went to the National Assembly protest the other day and I felt like the protesters were too dangerous.
1. Don’t necessarily go too close to the stage.
Those leading the protests have also broadcast warnings several times, but it is too dangerous. It’s not an idol performance or a national singing contest. Even though I was told not to come because there were too many people, they kept coming towards the stage in front of the center with innocent faces. It was dangerous. If you are not prepared to die at the forefront, just become a peripheral or background force.
2. You must maintain one arm distance.
It was cold and I wanted to be close to my friend, so I was very close to him, but he was crushed to death. Protesting is different from attending a performance.
3. There must be human barricades outside to protect protesters in case of emergency.
If there are enough police forces, it will be okay, but if not, you have to keep the contingency in mind. If royalist terrorists suddenly attack, innocent protesters, as if they had come to see a performance, will be turned into chaos.
4. People with children
There are many people who bring their children to educate them, but if you think about the safety of your children, first think about where you will evacuate in case of an emergency, and then protest in a safer place. This is more the responsibility of the fathers who served in the military than the mothers. Or create a stroller zone on the outskirts.
I felt dizzy several times during the last protest. Safety insensitivity is no joke. I still can’t believe that the world will protect us who say the right things. I have seen Itaewon deja vu many times. We must be alert.
