On the 12th, Netflix announced that it had cast Cho Seung-woo, Nam Joo-hyuk, and Noh Yoon-seo in the new series ‘Dong Palace’ (working title).
‘Dong Palace’ is set in a fictional oriental era and tells the story of people who can feel or kill ghosts as they uncover the secrets hidden in a cursed palace.
Jo Seung-woo played the role of a king who summons people to lift the curse in the palace, and Nam Joo-hyuk played the role of Gu-cheon, who has the ability to kill ghosts by cutting them down with a sword. Noh Yoon-seo plays Ginger, a court lady who can hear the sounds of ghosts.
Expectations are also high because it is Nam Joo-hyuk’s first work after being discharged from the military.
Writers Kwon So-ra and Seo Jae-won of ‘Son the Guest’ wrote the screenplay, and PD Choi Jeong-gyu of ‘The Devil Judge’ took charge of directing.
