While booking for express buses from Daegu to the
beach
found that the cheapest buses were from North
Daegu (Daegu Bukto Minil) When | got to the terminal;
quickly realized that theres areason to whyit was so
cheap
The terminalis extremely run down probably the worst
out of the three main ones in Daegu (Dong Daegu, West Daegu, North
Daegu) Theres practically no air conditioning; and all the
station workers are wearing tank tops.
Because the waiting room was so dirty and hot | decided
to go to this (pic related) coffee shop right outside the
terminal while waiting for my bus It’s called “Daegu
Coffee Shop” andis on the second floor of an Uzbek
restaurant
Other than looking kind of old l didnt see any red flags
from the outside But once
got inside | regretted
everything
The lady working there locked the door right after | got in;
telling me that the area isn’t safe
got scared but since
there was A/C and she showed metoatable
thought
it’d be rude to just run away
This was no ordinary coffee shop There was no menu
no coffee machine no staff no
nothing before
even
ordered anything the lady brought mea paper cup full
of coffee (Max Coffee)
then noticed that there were signs
saying “pot puncture” with phone numbers underneath
had
noidea What that meant butit was suspicious
The lady then suddenly gets on my lap (?) and starts
hugging me My dumbass finally realized what this was;
and panicked.
said my bus leaves in ten minutes, and
started grabbing my stuff.
She surprisingly let me go but said the coffee is 20,000
KRW
was scared sO | paid it no questions asked
ran
back to the terminal
On the way out
saw a bunch of beds with curtains
around them too.

I entered an old cafe near the terminal.
There’s no menu and one girl is Miss Coffee.
It burned and climbed onto my lap.
Only then did I realize what kind of place it was.
Coffee price is 20,000 won
