There was a recent statement from the Black Desert Japanese service team regarding the GM note that was provided in celebration of Dokdo Day on October 25th.
In relation to this, we should have also informed you of our position; We sincerely apologize for causing any confusion:
We celebrate many meaningful days in the country together with all of you adventurers.
This Dokdo Day GM note was also carried out in this context and was packed to celebrate this meaningful day with adventurers.
It wasn’t a problem because there was nothing to take for granted.
However, as this GM note became known to other countries, it did not escalate into a political controversy.
Even service personnel in the area are receiving threats, raising concerns about everyone’s safety.
This was the result of not sufficiently considering in advance the impact that GM notes posted in one region could have on users in other regions.
Accordingly, through a statement from the Japanese service team on January 8, it was explained that the GM note in question was not written with political intent or to cause inconvenience.
In order to create a safer global service framework in the future, we will strengthen the Keruniki line between overseas offices.
Our top priority is to create games that all users can enjoy together.
