I picked up my wallet.

I am in my mid 40s and work in the delivery business.

Today (November 5th) around 15:00, while making a delivery, I saw a wallet on the road.

At first I just passed by. After picking up the items at the store, I passed by again and the wallet was still there so I picked it up. (The wallet looks like an elementary school wallet that everyone has seen haha)

Of course, I thought it was an empty wallet or a discarded wallet, so I picked it up and picked it up, but it was a little heavy!!

When I opened my wallet, there were coins, two 10,000 won bills, and 1,000 won bills in the bill compartment… I don’t know the exact amount. When I picked up the wallet and saw that there was money in the contents, I thought I should take it to the police station right away, so I went to the nearby police station in about 2 minutes. Now that I have it, I haven’t been able to check all the contents.

Hmm…but from here on, I feel a little offended…

I really think the elementary school student who lost her wallet would be very heartbroken.

I was planning to just quickly hand over my wallet to the police box on my way to delivery…

I went to the police station and picked up my wallet. When the owner finds it, please return it to me. As I was about to come out, the police officer said, “Wait a minute!”

You have to fill this out and then go, and then they catch me.

So, ah… I’m on my way to delivery right now. I just came to quickly deliver my wallet. That chicken is in the delivery box, so I have to go. I said that.

They told me to just write this and go since it would be done soon.

I said, “Okay, please hurry up.” I sat down next to the police officer and filled out the paperwork.

But!!!!!!!!Ha…….This is my biggest regret….

The document that was said to be completed soon….they asked for all my personal information (name, resident registration number, home address, phone number, occupation) and then filled it out.

They also asked me where I acquired my wallet, when I acquired it, and whether or not I checked the contents. For a moment, I didn’t feel good.

I stopped by in the middle of work to find the owner of the wallet, and although I wasn’t treated like a criminal, I didn’t feel good.

I think it would waste more time if I answered everything the police asked.

I have to go to chicken delivery now!! It will continue like this!! Now that I tell you, the police can stop leaving…

Ha…fuck it. It’s already been 20 minutes since I picked up the chicken, but I’m in a hurry.

I came out and ran to the delivery location.

This is my first time picking up a wallet in my life and this is my first time reporting a lost item.

I didn’t know it was this complicated.ㅜㅜ

From next time, even if I have a wallet, I won’t pick it up… I came to a conclusion on my own.

## Fortunately, about two hours later, the police station called and said they had found the owner of the wallet. As expected, the elementary school wallet was correct^^

I think I fell while riding my bike haha.

I called my father to thank him for finding my wallet^^

I hope that our elementary school students will have these good memories for a long time and become good people in the future.
