“Sleep 28 times a week”… Japanese man lives with 4 wives and 2 girlfriends

“I will have 54 children… “Maintaining polygamy”

A Japanese man with four wives and two girlfriends is garnering attention by revealing that his goal is to have 54 children in the future. This man already has 10 children.

According to Hong Kong’s South China Morning Post (SCMP) on the 17th, Watanabe Ryuta (36), who lives in northern Hokkaido, has not worked for 10 years and lives on the income of his wife and girlfriend.

He currently lives in Hokkaido with three wives, two girlfriends, and two children, and is separated from his other wife. It is said that there are 10 children born, 8 of whom have different mothers, and that they rarely meet other than the 2 children who live with them.

In a recent interview with Japan’s Shueisha, he said, “I have sex with my three wives more than 28 times a week.”

Watanabe added, “The wives have their own rooms and take turns sleeping with them every night. The wives get along well by sharing household chores such as cooking, laundry, childcare, and cleaning.”

He said in the past, “My goal is to leave my name in history by giving birth to 54 children.” The reason he insists on having 54 children is because there is a record that the shogun Tokugawa Ienari (1773-1841) had 53 children during the Edo period, and he wants to surpass that.

Watanabe’s third wife is currently pregnant and is expected to give birth in six months.

Regarding the reason why he became polygamous, Watanabe said, “About six years ago, I suffered from depression and was a welfare recipient, but my 18-year-old girlfriend at the time dumped me, saying she wanted a man with an annual salary of more than 40 million yen (approximately 362 million won).” “I started meeting a variety of women on a dating app, and at one point I had up to 16 girlfriends,” he said.

He added, “Everyone left, saying they couldn’t date men like you anymore, and the only ones left are the current wives.”

Watanabe said that at first he made a living by visiting women’s homes, but it was difficult to visit women’s homes and there was a problem with women leaving, so he ended up living like he does now.

He said, “My parents divorced when I was young and I lived with my mother, so I still have memories of the loneliness I felt at the time.” He added, “My goal is to bring in three more wives and have 54 children.”

When asked if he had any plans to work, he said, “No,” and “I will continue to live in polygamy.”
