Binggrae visits patriots and delivers hanbok ahead of Liberation Day

Binggrae announced on the 14th that ahead of Liberation Day, it visited patriotic independence activist Kim Young-gwan and delivered a specially designed hanbok.

Binggrae and the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs visited Governor Kim Young-kwan’s home in Songpa-gu, Seoul on the 13th. Binggrae CEO Jeon Chang-won and Minister of Patriots and Veterans Affairs Kang Jeong-ae were present and personally presented Governor Kim with a plaque of appreciation and a special custom hanbok set designed for the campaign.

After escaping from the Japanese army in 1944, Governor Kim Young-kwan joined the Korean Liberation Army and devoted himself to the anti-Japanese movement, waging guerilla warfare jointly with the Chinese army. Afterwards, he participated in the Korean War and was awarded the Hwarang Military Merit Medal and the Aejok Medal of the National Foundation Medal in recognition of his contributions to the anti-Japanese movement and national security.

Binggrae also visited Governor Lee Ha-jeon, who lives in California, USA, and delivered a hanbok set, a plaque of appreciation, and a Taegeukgi with the signature of the Korean Liberation Army.

Governor Lee Ha-jeon is the only surviving patriot living abroad. He was arrested and imprisoned in 1941 while participating in a secret organization for the purpose of independence while studying in Japan.

Binggrae executives and employees visited Korea’s surviving patriots, including Governor Kim Young-gwan, Kang Tae-sun, Lee Seok-gyu, Oh Seong-gyu, and Oh Hee-ok, and expressed their gratitude by presenting them with customized hanbok sets.

This visit was part of the independence movement campaign ‘First Wearing Liberation’ conducted on the 2nd, and was prepared to deliver hanbok with the spirit of the independence movement to six surviving patriots and express gratitude for their sacrifice and dedication for the country. Done.
