The second largest marine mammal after whales

It’s a southern elephant seal. Among marine mammals, it is the second largest after whales.

Males are said to be up to 6 meters long and weigh 3 to 4 tons.

Thanks to its huge size, its only natural enemies are great white sharks and killer whales.

Fortunately, a great white shark bites once and splatters until it is exhausted from excessive bleeding.

Killer whales wait and attack, but only groups with skilled hunting skills are allowed to hunt.
