If you look up “Gura” and “Kura” in the Japanese dictionary, you can only find an explanation of “Kuraらく” without appearing at all. Let’s take a look at the meaning of ‘Kuraらく’ as a phenomenon in which ‘Kanji’ is pronounced ‘Kanji’ among Korean speakers as seen above.

The Japanese dictionary explanation of ‘Gura’ is nowhere to be found, so it should be regarded as mistaking ‘Korean Gura’ as a remnant of Japanese.

Finally, the National Institute of Korean Language’s Standard Korean Dictionary states ‘Gura’ as a lie or a slang term for a story.
