I keep getting calls from people I don’t know. What’s the reason?

About a year ago, a stranger called me and asked if it was Mr. XX’s number.

I thought I owned the number, but I said no and hung up.

He said he was sorry and hung up (voice of an elderly person over 60).

But after that, I got a call from the same number every few weeks, and every time I asked if it was XX, I repeated the explanation that it wasn’t.

I kept getting calls like that for a few months, so at some point I just blocked the number.

I’ve been making calls until recently.

When I heard his voice, he was just a normal person, but I don’t know why.
